Tony and Katie Nikl produce and find some of the best quality dogs out there. We have known the Nikls for many years as I came to Canada to learn and train from Canczechdogs. As a trainer in the United States, Canczechdogs was and still is the place I look to for providing quality dogs for police work. We trained many dogs that Rush sired. I have traveled with Tony to Europe to purchase dogs. Every dog that we received from Canczechdogs has won an award if not multiple awards in a law enforcement competition. As a handler my last patrol dog was a Rush son and was very highly awarded not just in competition but for life saving efforts. When we needed a new family protection dog my first call was to Tony and Katie. I have acquired three dogs from Katie and Tony. My first experience was purchasing a police K9 for my former police department. From constant emails back and forth, requesting environmental things I wanted to see in the dog, to their hospitality when I went to pick him up was second to none. The second dog I purchased as a breeding prospect. She was picked up as a puppy and again, the Nikl's were super easy to deal with. They took us out with the litter and ran them through their puppy obstacle course and threw lots of things at them so I could see how resilient they were. The third, I also bought as a breeding prospect but I wanted a lower drive than the other two. They met me just across the border into the US and that pup was just what I was looking for. Nothing at all bothered any of the three. The genetics are also outstanding. One lived to 13 before his hard life as a police dog got the best of him. The second one was 12 when she passed and my youngest is just 5. None had/have any genetic-related ailments. All three puppies were from different dams, all sired by "Rush". I can't say enough about their program. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another puppy from them in the future.
