History of Canczech Dogs
Canczech Dogs has been training dogs professionally for over 40 years.
Tony grew up in the city of Prague, Czechoslovakia. Most of his spare time was spent at a K-9 training centre where he watched service and sport dog training.
It wasn't long before he knew that he would spend the rest of his life working with dogs. His appetite for knowledge in training dogs was, and remains to this day, insatiable. Finding and working with exceptional trainers to extend his knowledge and skill set has been a primary factor in his success of becoming a well recognized and respected professional Master Trainer.
It didn't take long for Canczech Dogs to materialize once Tony met, his now wife, Katie. Tony and Katie's perseverance to maintain the integrity of Canczech Dogs is well recognized. Their reputation for having provided high quality dogs and training to police forces, Correctional Institutions, other Law Enforcement agencies, and private citizens speaks for itself.
All dogs are directly imported from Slovakia and Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia) or are bred by Canczech Dogs from these top imported lines. The quality of these East European German Shepherd Dogs is immediately apparent to anyone with knowledge of working dogs. The strength, intelligence, health and courageousness of these dogs is unparalleled.
Occasionally Tony will still travel to Europe to seek out seasoned trainers, as he continually strives to improve Canczech Dogs' skills and education. We do not believe in training obstacles at Canczech Dogs, only training opportunities which challenge the dogs and trainers to adapt, improvise, and overcome the training requirements of our client's specific and unique needs.
From personal protection dogs that are family-friendly, search and rescue, detection and police dogs, to training and supplying dogs to the movie industry - we do it all.
