Canczech Dogs

With decades of experience, dating all the way back to his childhood, Tony leads Canczech Dogs with expertise in all facets of dog training.

He's worked as high risk private K9 security and for Corrections as an independent contractor using his own personally trained dogs. Tony is known in the film industry for his safe and well-controlled aggressing dogs. Although he favours this work, he enjoys working on family-friendly films as well. His roles include animal trainer, actor, stunt double, and stunt actor.

His love for dogs is undeniable and has fuelled the founding of Canczech Dogs. Tony has acquired knowledge from a Czech-border Army dog trainer, Czech/Slovak Police Departments, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, North American Police Departments, high-level Schutzhund and French Ring trainers. He also spends time exchanging knowledge with Search And Rescue dog handlers and trainers.

Katie is fluent in all aspects of training although her expertise and passion is in breeding. Her lifelong career as a nurse has made her an asset in our breeding program. Katie has held multiple roles in film industry projects including animal coordinator and animal trainer. Katie ensures Canczech Dogs operates to the highest standards.

Canczech Dogs came as a recommendation to Colin and his partner for specialty training tailored to their needs.

He became a great trainer and decoy over the years earning his way into the film industry as a trainer and stunt man specializing in dogs.

He just finished training with our friends and associates Barking Heroes in Slovakia who have been specializing in working K9s for 30+ years. He is continuing to evolve as a decoy, handler, and trainer.

Chantell came to Canczech Dogs with her partner, Colin, and an 8-week-old German Shepherd puppy. She has been a member of the team ever since. She gained experience as a dog handler in obedience, protection, and scent detection. Her primary role is supporting Canczech Dogs' operation. She continues to train and learn with both her personal dog and others who come to Canczech Dogs.

There are many other important individuals who support Canczech Dogs that we can't go without acknowledging. These individuals decoy, partner on film projects, and exchange knowledge with us. We greatly appreciate these people - we wouldn't be able to accomplish what we do without them.
